# Using the Render Center to Preview Mockups
The **Render Center** is where you generate and fine-tune product mockups for your listings. Access it from the listing setup flow after designing your product.
## What is the Render Center?
The Render Center lets you:
- Generate photorealistic mockups of your design on the actual product
- Switch between different product colors and placements
- Choose from standard renders, AI photorealistic renders, or 3D renders
- Preview how your product looks from multiple angles
## Generating Mockups
1. Open the Render Center from your listing setup page
2. Your design will be automatically applied to the product
3. Click **Generate Mockups** to create your product images
4. Select your preferred mockup style from the toolbar
## Mockup Types
### Standard Renders
Flat product renders generated by Printful. Fast and reliable for most products.
### AI Photorealistic Renders
Uses AI to place your product in realistic lifestyle scenes. Best for apparel and accessories.
### 3D Renders
Interactive 3D previews showing your design wrapped on the actual product model.
## Choosing Colors and Placements
- Use the **color dots** below the preview to switch product color variants
- Switch between **Front**, **Back**, and **Sleeve** placements using the placement tabs
- Each placement can have independently generated mockups
## Tips
- Generate mockups for each color variant you plan to sell
- Use at least 3–4 mockup images per listing for best conversion
- AI renders work best with simple, bold designs on solid-colored products
- 3D renders are recommended for all-over-print (AOP) products
## Saving and Using Mockups
When you're happy with your mockups, click **Save** or **Approve** to add them to your listing. Your approved mockups will appear in the listing image gallery.
