Studio Overview

The Dripper Studio is a full-featured design editor for creating custom product designs. It combines AI generation, professional image editing, and real-time product mockups in one workspace.

The Canvas

The main workspace shows your selected product with its printable area. The dotted boundary indicates where your design will be printed. You can zoom, pan, and reposition layers directly on the canvas.

Placements

Products can have multiple print placements — front, back, left sleeve, right sleeve, and more depending on the product type. Switch between placements using the tabs. Each placement has its own set of layers and can use different print techniques.

Layer Types

Designs are built by stacking layers. Available types:

AI Image — AI-generated artwork from text prompts with art style selection.
Upload Image — Your own images (PNG, JPG, WEBP).
Text — Custom text with full typography controls (fonts, gradients, effects, curved paths).
Shape — Geometric shapes with fill, gradient, border, and texture options.
Color Layer — Solid color fill across all placements.
Pattern Layer — Repeating patterns (stripes, dots, plaid, grids).

Editing Tools

Image layers include a comprehensive editing suite: 16+ filters, manual adjustments (brightness, contrast, vibrance, etc.), AI-powered editing, effects (noise, pixelate, vignette, dither), frames, borders, patterns, textures, crop, flip, and background tools.

Text layers offer font selection, color/gradient fills, text effects, curved paths, letter spacing, and container styling.

Shape layers support fill colors/gradients, borders, textures, and geometric controls.

Render Center

Generate product mockups in multiple modes:

2D Standard — Quick flat mockup rendering.
3D Standard — Interactive 3D view with batch rendering across colors and camera angles.
AI Photorealistic — Lifestyle photos with AI-generated models and backgrounds.
Factory — Multi-view production-ready renders.

Concept Board

Create a visual presentation of all your placements in one view. Export as PNG image or PDF document — useful for sharing designs or production briefs.

Library

Save generated images, uploaded assets, and rendered mockups to your personal library. Reuse them across projects.

Design Management

Clone layers within a placement, mirror them horizontally or vertically, apply designs to all placements at once, or import designs from other projects. See Working with Layers for details.

Print Techniques

Each placement supports specific print techniques (DTG, embroidery, sublimation, UV, etc.). The technique affects available colors, quality settings, and editing tools. See Placements and Print Areas for details.
