Understanding Print-on-Demand

Learn how print-on-demand fulfillment works — production, shipping, and what to expect.

Understanding Print-on-Demand

Print-on-demand (POD) means products are only manufactured when a customer places an order. There's no upfront inventory cost and no risk of unsold stock.

How fulfillment works

  1. Customer orders — A buyer purchases a product from your store or the marketplace.
  2. Production starts — The order is sent to our fulfillment partner who prints your design on the chosen product.
  3. Quality check — Each item is inspected before shipping.
  4. Ships directly — The product ships directly to the customer with no Dripper branding (white-label).

Production times

Most products are produced within 2–5 business days. Shipping times depend on the destination — typically 3–7 business days for domestic and 7–20 for international orders.

Pricing & earnings

Each product has a base cost (production + fulfillment). You set your retail price above this base cost, and the difference is your profit. Dripper shows you the base cost for every product in the Studio. After a sale, earnings enter a 14-day hold period before they become available for payout. See Navigating the Dashboard for details on tracking earnings.

Print quality

We use DTG (Direct-to-Garment) and DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing for apparel, and high-resolution UV printing for accessories. The print method is shown for each product in the Studio (accessible via the Print Method button in the sidebar). For best results, upload designs at 300 DPI or use our AI generation tools which output print-ready files.
