Add and customize geometric shapes — rectangles, circles, stars, polygons, lines, and arrows.

Shape Layers

Shape layers add geometric primitives to your design — useful for backgrounds, frames, decorative elements, dividers, and more.

Adding a shape

  1. Click + and select Shape.
  2. Choose from 7 shape types: Rectangle, Circle, Ellipse, Star, Polygon, Line, or Arrow.
  3. The shape appears on the canvas. Drag to position and resize.

Shape

Switch between shape types at any time.

Color

Fill the shape with:

  • Solid color — Pick any color.
  • Linear gradient — Two or more colors blending in a line.
  • Radial gradient — Colors radiating from center.

Border / Stroke

Configure the shape outline:

  • Stroke width (0–20px)
  • Stroke color
  • Style: solid, dashed, or dotted
  • Line join and cap styles

Geometry

Shape-specific controls:

  • Rectangle — Corner radius (0–100) for rounded corners.
  • Star — Number of points (3–20) and inner radius (0–100%).
  • Polygon — Number of sides (3–20).
  • Arrow — Style (straight/curved), head position (start/end/both), head size (5–30), curve intensity (0–100).

Effects

Shadow, glow, emboss, and pixelate effects.

Texture

Overlay textures with blend modes (multiply, overlay, soft-light, screen, color-burn).

Flip, Layer, Duplicate

Flip horizontally/vertically, reorder layers, and clone shapes.

Common uses

  • Colored rectangles as banners or text backgrounds
  • Circles for badge/seal designs
  • Stars for ratings or decorative accents
  • Arrows for directional graphics
  • Lines as dividers or borders
